Well, my calendar says I am suppose to be blogging here today, so I guess I'll toss something up here. Maybe one day someone will read it ;)

We are getting closer and closer to "Election Day 2008!!!" I don't know about you but I'm wondering when exactly we will get some candidates that are actually worth voting for.

This year we have the George W. Bush clone who is presenting his plan for reducing oil usage and making us a greener world. (Imagine that from a Republican). On the other hand we have Obama, who like Nader will probably say "What the hell do I do now?" if he is elected.

When the government stopped being accountable to the people was the day the whole system failed. I don't blame the government; I blame the people. We went to sleep and let the corporate world take over government and encourage the laws to benefit them; not us.

Want to make some major changes, apply the following rules:

1) No member of a US government position will make more than 10 times that which any worker (legal or illegal) has made in the US within the last calendar year.

2) Special Interest groups and lobbyists are no longer allowed.

3) Accepting any form of gift related to the business of managing the nation is against the law. All gifts received must be reported when the value is greater than 500.00 as determined by the IRS. When I say all gifts, I mean ALL gifts including Birthday, Christmas, Valentines, etc. This would include any gifts given to the family. Gifts considered to be in violation of the protection of the rights of the citizens of the US would result in immediate removal from office and loss of future benefits.

4) Health Care: The members of the US government shall be required to procure their own health care. There will be no lifetime benefits such as the current system provides. Their benefits will be equal to those which are the lowest offered to any (legal) American citizen.

5) Members of the US government will be expected to work the standard days that every other US citizen is expected to work. There will no longer be long summer, winter, and whatever other breaks they take. Failure to vote in three consecutive votes will result in removal from office. Vacation requests will be submitted to a poll on their website, the people who live in their area will control the vacation requests by response to the polls. Majority wins, a zero vote results in favor of the member of government.

If you want to see the government committed to real change then they have to be held equal to those that need the change most, they need to be held accountable to the people.

I've been pondering a lot of things lately and one topic (as usual) is in the list. Sex... well come, who doesn't like sex (ok ok... I can come up with several). But I found this article: 10 Reasons to have sex and the joke below during my web searching. Enjoy the joke, it has been a favorite of mine for a while!

I have never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.

FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me." I said "WHAT??!! What was that?!" So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear... "You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?" Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We went onto the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you...she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it." Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled WHAT?" I then said "honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman." And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having sex tonight either.

Breast Cancer Awareness Has Gone Too Far!

I went to the store the other day and discovered a pack of "fresh" sugar cokies with pink sugar breast cancer ribbons as topping. If the cookies had been pink or the icing I would understand; but do we need pink ribbon sugar decorations?!?!

I love breasts as much as anyone damd it!

I just logged into Yahoo and I have come up with a great invention...

The perfect outfit for women. A shirt with a button that says "Click here to see me naked!"

Of course, it actually has to work, otherwise it is just false advertising!
Well, my birthday was just about the most rediculous day I've had in a long time, from having to deal with people that do not know how to use Google to going out to eat when I just wanted to go home and having to put up with some crazy additude action... just a super day all around!

On the up side, I didn't get cupcakes, my dentist will be happy!

I did find a way to balance it all out though, this movie:

Friday morning we woke up to a little shaking going on around the St. Louis area. I though the cat had gotten behind the dresser and was stuck, my wife thought it was the dog. Turns out we had a earthquake about 125 miles east of St. Louis or 150 miles east of us, give or take .05 miles or something.

Anyway, I added the following to the map on the Post Dispatch's website:

There were a lot of "reports" of how scared people were. The truth is the quake was very short and it was over before most people knew what was going on. At least when Janet Jackson's boob popped out on TV we had Tivo to be able to go back and enjoy the nipplage... now we just have the memories of the vibration.
Strangly my wife has asked for a vibrating bed; she had a very happy look for 20 seconds the other morning... who knew.

Christmas 2007, Done and gone.

Well, another Chirstmas has come and gone and like the ones before our house paid the price. Who the hell comes over to your house, spills fruit punch and then doesn't at least tell you about it.

At least we found it after it ruined some photographs, so there is that bonus!

Although I must admit that my favorite part was:

Someone had set a drink down, right next to their chair, which happened to be right next to the halway where the kids were playing. One of the girls knocked the drink over and they asked for some paper towels to clean it up. I went over and cleaned it up and asked someone to get a cup. Everyone stood there looking at me like I was crazy.

I had to get up from cleaning up the mess, walk back into the kitchen, get a cup, come back and get the ice that was spilled, then clean up the rest of the mess.

Its funny; but no one seems to get why I hate people!

naruto shippuuden episode 39 (illegal!!!)

Weird...

November 4, 2008...

As of today there are 321 days until less than half of registered US voters head to the poles and cast their hardly thought out votes commonly along party lines. The exciting news for everyone is that were already well into having to hear about all the different people that want to replace GW as the leader of the "free" world.

Now, over the last eight years Bush has spent a lot of time praying for the safe return of soldiers around the world while actually doing very little about it. Ok, ok, it’s not just him but everyone in the federal government is praying for their safe return but effectively spending their time complaining about how the war is being run or about how the democrats are complaining about how the war is being run while not actually providing for the safety of the troops.

Now the truth of the matter is that the situation in Iraq is not as bad as the media made it out to be, the majority of the country is quite safe (much like wandering around 8 mile in Detroit is safe). However, a lot of people have died (not us US citizens but the unknown number of Iraq citizens) while we are bringing freedom and safety to an area that, well... lets face it... does not really want to be safe.

The Middle East is loaded with countries that are like family. They have been fighting since the day the first two guys found oil. Add onto that the fact that Europeans have constantly been going over there and trying to take over. The crusades, World War I, World War II, The Roman Empire, France, England, Establishment of a free Jewish homeland, the current events, and I am sure I am forgetting plenty of visits from "the white man."

So here we are, after invading Iraq to get the weapons of mass destruction - which it turns out seem to be in North Korea. Of course we will never invade them because China would just be cranky about it; and that would be bad. We were ready to invade Iran as well; I could almost taste the need to invade them, to show them it was wrong to be making nuclear weapons.

Then we discovered they weren't. Good thing our information gathering is right on top of things. It would have been horrible to go in and discover that an evil country wasn't doing what we said they were doing...

So, here we are with all the new presidential hopefuls. Promising to make the world a better place once again while I sit around and wonder why we are constantly trying to improve the world when all we really need to do is step back and stop fucking it up.

The good news is that our choices this time around are a lot better than they have been in the past elections. The bad news is that the best two choices may not have a chance since one is black and the other is female. Let’s face it; if the country is not ready to allow gay couples to have the same right to a 50% divorce rate then the country is certainly not ready to be run by a female or a black man.

Sad to say because this is the Democrat's best chance to get the Whitehouse with the weak showing from the Republicans; but like Eminem say's, it is White America.
